Persisten email notification you can't turn off
The service is a bit pricey, but if you find the right teacher, it's worth it. However, be prepare to get your inbox spammed with messages from iTalki. For every session with your teacher, you'll receive no less than 6 emails from them that are completely useless. And no, you can't unsubscribe or disable them (if iTalki answer this saying you can, it's simply not true.)

I'm drowning in meaningless notifications from this app. Another issue is that i was going to contact a teacher i wanted to study with and filled out all the information and wrote a 500 word message, then i scrolled up and the app interpreted that as i wanted to close the window and delete all info i had filled out. So damn frustrating. Why implement a fwiw like this?

Don't go down!
My first experience and I've already been harmed. I bought five classes, my teacher just disappeared, didn't answer message and just took my money. Disappeared! Please don't go down. Don't fall for it. They should post their own comments of praise, but it sucks. Don't fall!

Very good the application, but he does not have an option to record the lessons, here's a constructive review, add this option, because it would be much better to have a history with the lessons taken.

Decent service terrible policies
They steal your money. If you cancel a lesson they keep your money in your “Student Wallet” forever. It's ridiculous and I consider it theft. I hope they enjoy their inevitable class action lawsuit.

After not using app for 12 months italki team sent me email that my money (credits) gathered on my italki account were lost based on general conditions I signed. Nobody reads conditions. I lost 132 USD because of 12 months of innactivity on my account. Just taken away like that. They also wrote in email they hope I will come back to italki soon... No comments. Not recommended. In fact such practices should be investigated by google
