I love this app. I gave it only 3 stars based on my experience with the developers. I got a new phone recently and none of my progress was translated to the new device. I also have paid for a yearly subscription that did not get transferred either. The developer response initially but was not helpful. When I began asking about a refund since my subscription was not working, I stopped receiving replies. It's unfortunate because I have used this app to practice asl for years.

Something is seriously wrong with this app. Every single word is cut off by one letter and all of the videos glitch.

Installed to learn ASL for my toddler. Immediately blocked by dialy learning paths. The information needed was not accessible. Not a good app for anyone looking for quick references to learn on the fly.

It isn't great. I would not recommend spending money. The videos are blurry, poor quality, way too fast, and are sometimes cut off before the person finishes signing. It would be helpful if you could pause it and see different angles. It teaches you 2-3 words per lesson (I'm only doing the free one) and then expects you to be able to form and understand a sentence using words you haven't learned yet. They don't teach you principles or basics, just some words. There are so many bugs and glitches.

Well made
I've been having problems with speech recently and I've been trying to find an ASL app that's free (I know it's not a lot of money but I still don't have the money for this) it's well made and you get the first lesson for free but then you can't continue unless you pay the subscription. It's a great app and seems good for kids, money is really my only issue which I understand makes me sound a little snobby but it's just inaccessible to me

Jerkiness makes it hard to tell when a sign is tapped twice
I am a beginner and like this app, but it is jerky on my iPad Pro. I cannot tell sometimes if the sign is really being tapped twice, or if the app is just being jerky. I have to do a google search for the sign so that I can be sure I'm learning it correctly. Having a nice smooth video presentation would be wonderful :)

I thought this was a decent app until today's free lesson. Half the hints were for the wrong sign and I couldn't report the issue. Between that and the less than stellar UI I'm going to have to give a low rating and uninstall. There's promise here but if the app is broken it's useless.

Great app but feels like it’s missing something
I really do like this app. I like how the lessons are set up and how each demonstration repeats to give you time to understand it. Things I don't really like: The rewards system don't really do much. I have hundreds of unclaimed chests and skip options. Flash cards are always Yes, haven't finished to ayes or no that was a no. Sometimes flash cards get stuck on the wrong word, forcing you to chose yes even though you know it's wrong. There's no sign for Keanu Reeves, it makes me spell it out. Guess we can use sign for Breathtaking.

I don't think it's right to pay for something like this. I haven't met to many death people but I felt horrible for not being able to communicate with them. So for years I've been trying to learn it finally found thus and I was happy, but then found out you have to pay for it? Ridiculous.
