Beyond horrible. It constantly keeps being "updated" and also "scheduled maintenance" which makes it impossible to view my billing or info. Also constantly logs me out even when I have my info saved already.

So close to good but misses
This latest update fixed the “can't log in” bug; the app is quick, well designed, looks like it belongs on my phone (which is not so common among utility companies and banks!). My payment that I made in the app wasn't seen by the app; I got a confirmation email and still the app didn't reflect the payment it had just processed. I had to force-quit the app to make the payment show up. (Side note: after force-quitting and re-launching, I was not challenged for a username/password: I was still logged in - yikes!) Unfortunately, the app doesn't use native platform tools that make apps much better. It doesn't use FaceID, instead routing to a janky webview to make you log in via their web site with a password and username. Which I then had to go look up. The app gets around this by just… never logging you out!! Great security on both levels, gang. They also don't use ApplePay, and they also use the capitalized term “Wallet” to refer to them storing your credit card information! That was great in 2008; this is a big detractor now. Make the whole app run local and native, ComEd! Don't shunt off to web views, do use native platform technologies, and this could become a shining example to other utility companies everywhere. Hey ComEd: People's Gas uses ApplePay in their app….
